Oscilloscope is a recording studio, production company, post-production company, movie company, record company,
design stuff spot, laboratory, paintball guns, night vision goggles, seriously whatever it takes… basically we make shit.
Recent projects include:

The Beastie Boys “To The 5 Boroughs” album, which was recorded and mixed in the Oscilloscope recording studio.
And the package design for that record was laid out here… yes, I said “package”.

Oscilloscope has also produced videos for songs from the “To The 5 Boroughs” album including “Ch-Check It Out”, “
Right Right Now Now”, “An Open Letter To NYC”, “Triple Trouble”, “Rhyme The Rhyme Well”, “All lifestyles”, “Shazam”...………

We’re currently putting together a film of a show that Beastie Boys played at Madison Square Garden on October 9th 2004.
This project has so much traction that it has a frickin’ “green light” for theatrical release. Within Oscilloscope’s facilities
we are doing all of the off-line and on-line editing, sound editing and mixing. We’re also doing all of the authoring for the DVD…
Basically all the pre-pro, and the post production is getting done on sight. I’m telling you, The Scope is putting shit together.
Fools are walking around in lab coats over here. And that’s for real. And now it looks like there might even be a B-Boys singles

collection coming down the pipe.

Everyday during recess our employees enjoy a relaxing game of Goiter Ball. Rules: Goiter Ball should be played by 4 to 8 players.
It is similar to hockey in that there are two goals. But the ball that is used is like a big ass bouncy exercise ball that is hit around
with broom sticks or cardboard tubes. You can only move or touch the ball if you have both feet on a skateboard.
At all times there must be at least one raibid spazzing dog or albino wart hog to try to bite the players and or pop the ball.
If any player has a real goiter on his or her neck, anyone who hits it gets bonus points.

In November of 2002 a new Bad Brains record was recorded at Oscilloscope and is currently in the process of being mixed here.
So that should be coming out soon.

…And Le Tigre did some mixing at the O-scope studio as well.

For real, shit is blowing up over here. A couple of weeks ago Michael (employee of the month) asked a reporter that had come here
to interview the Boys if he would like an espresso. It was a French guy, and he said "yes". and Michael said "do you want 2?"
and the French reporter said "what?" so Michael reiterated "you know, do you want 2?" holding up both of his hands
in a gesture like he was holding two cups. And the reporter said "OK." then Michael said "do you want sugar and milk?"
and he said "no."

Later Michael came back with the two little cups of coffee and the French guy tasted one and said "this is good. tastes like French coffee!"
and Michael was really happy. he is still happy about that, and talks about it sometimes.
